!AIR. necessary to remove air pump?

do i need to remove the air pump or can i just take off the hoses and remove the air fuse so it doesn't go on? Is there an electrical connector i need to take off the air pump if i am still leaving it there?

you don't have to remove the pump. But it takes less than 15 mins to remove.

You can do it either way. Removing the pump saves 6-7 lbs or so off the front end...

Really easy to remove. Right behind the driver's side foglight is where the pump is. Unbolt that flap there, and you'll see it. Takes 10 minutes..

You'll throw an SES code for it, but it doesn't hurt performance at all. I removed my AIR pump like the first week I had my car 4 yrs ago

Might not even turn on the SES light, had mine off/disconected for 3 months before I had edit done and it never set a code. Take out the pump and see how far you can punt it.

I wouldn't recommend removing the pump if you still have cats. If you're going to have an ORY with your coming pacesetters then go ahead and do it when you get them.
