Default injecters?

runnig the 243 heads and a 228r cam. would upgrading the injecters be any better gain? I know i would have to tune it.

That is a question for your tuner. Chances are with heads and cam you are going to be over 100% DC on the stockers anyway. But you dont want a set that will just hose down the cylinders. Not really an upgrade that is going to "add power" just a saftey precaution you will want to take with more power. You add more air, and you are going to need more fuel kind of concept.

Moving to External from Internal III.

Yup, a datalogger will tell you if you need them or not. Its not something for power. With your mods I doubt youll need them, but then again we can only speculate. You need a datalog, its the only way to get an accurate answer......

But on 243s and the 228r cam, 42# should be fine tho? I just want to get closer to 450whp if i can on this set up.

Injectors are not going to add HP.. All bigger injectors will do is lower your DC (DUTY CYCLE) so they are not always spraying

If you change injectors you will have to edit the injector tables in the calibration.

Somewhere between the SVO red tops or green tops would work well for you. Id recommend in the green top area, injectors in that area will allow you room to grow if you add heads.
