Default Best and lightest UD pully !!

hey i was going to just buy a powerbond underdrive pully but iv read that the powerbond weighs a heafty 12lbs as the ASP weighs only 8 lbs and i was wondering which is the absolute best becasue i would like to put the lightest one on there that wont give me any problems and i have heard bad things about asp (which could be just be a bad instalation or something) thanks

Check out ATI. They are very light and very high quality. High price as well.

The ASP's rust prematurely sometimes. Not sure if they have corrected that or not as we mainly sell the Powerbonds. Those are what we prefer. More info here.

well ati is the best obvisolly but its also 400 dollars vs. 200 for the rest, powerbond is good i hear but they are also 12lbs vs. the asp's 8lbs and i want the lightest so i might pay the extera money and just get the best

my powerbond is rusting badly. i think they now use a coating on them. my car does not see rain or winter either. i recently put on an ATI and i would spend the $475 on it again.

Picked one of these up not too long ago (From New Era, best price i could find) and that picture is the old pulley. The new one is SOLID black, and looks great with my ARP crank bolt!

Ill see how much it helps when i finally get around to getting her tuned.

Being I put it on at the same time as I did LT's, SLP Lid, TB By-pass, 4.10's and a cpl other minor things I really couldn't say. Everything counts though right

hell yeah everything counts. Now that I got my car all tuned up, I can finally start spending money on mods. I don't have many right now, glad the guy before me put the borla catback on though. I prolly would've bought the Hooker catback, but hey i'll take a Borla. Need a lid, new shifter, and then LT's, then a tune. Hopefully, I can draw the limit there.

Asp here also, been on for 20k miles and been off once for my cam swap.
No problems or rust either, seems like alot of the powerbonds ive seen have surface rust on them.

Im running a powerbond 10% (wish I went with a 25%)

The power bond is heavy, but I hear nothing but good things about the quality.

I dont have the Gates numbers, but my Gatorbacks are 4040377 for the A/C and 4060760 for the serpentine belt. Rock auto has em cheap!
