Swapping to an LS6 intake... how to block off EGR?

Default Swapping to an LS6 intake... how to block off EGR?
Whats the best way to block the hole in the exhaust manifold when switching to an LS6 intake?

You can get a block off plate for it or make your own.

When you do this will you need to tune your car or will it be ok. were i'm getting @ is if it will throw any SES codes? Im thinking of swapping also

My tuner tells me I will throw a code so I will have to take it to him after the swap.

Eliminating the EGR will result in an SES light, but it won't effect performance.

If you have other mods you'd like to perform prior to getting a tune, I would take care of those first, then go visit your tuner.
