I does not sound bad at all. This is from my phone and the mic aint that great but honestly it does not sound as bad as most said. I like it although i could do with out the fumey smell. Its really loud and does sound mean.

sounds like you put your phone in the dryer. wait till you make a WOT hit, and then decide how it sounds.
btw your not cammed are you? that makes a big dif. an aggressive cam gets raspy and annoying real quick even with mufflers. just ask the guys running GMMG or SLP cat backs.

i am running a dynomax bullet muffler (as well as a tiny conventional muffler) and it smoothed out the sounds quite a bit. I would try to at least fit somthing like that in. No cats and aftermarket cam as well..
