Flow Tech Headers... Are CHEAP! LS1 Speed's add says they are the same design as the Hooker/Jet Hot, but of a thinner-walled tubing. They also have 3-bolt, flanged collectors (a plus, IMO).
For 379.00 coated, what do yall think? How would they compare to other LT's as far as HP and TQ is concerned?
Anyone here running these?

I'm very interested in these headers as well. I was actually ready to order some pacesetters this morning when I saw a thread about the Flowtechs. My only concern about the flange is clearance, both at the floor board and ground. The last set of headers I had I dragged the flange on every bump I hit until I developed an exhaust leak. I believe the Pacesetters are a slipfit design, which may help this.

I hear you on the clearence issue, but I was into the flange design because I've heard several on here compain they can't get slip-overs to seal up w/ out welding them to the Y (or X).
I would think maybe you could grind a little bit off the bottom of the flanges. Maybe that could yield another 1/4-1/2" of clearance.

actually jrp they arent very similar at all indesign...side by side non of the tubes match up that i remember...the ypipes are "similar" but thats about it and even then there are major differences. Id wait to see some pics and a few installation pics before id jump into flanged versions...slp has been hurting because of this as few people want ground clearance issues with an already low car to begin with.

If you want some cheaper headers, but for some reason don't want Pacesetters there is a Jet Hot GP going on in the GP section. $500 for a set of Jet Hot's is pretty cheap. Personally for the price I love my pacesetters.
