Default Muffler Question....

Right now I just have a Borla cat back exhaust with a stock Y pipe & I'm going to sell it to get LT headers, true dual exhaust, cut outs & turn downs. I want the cut outs so I can have it be loud then have some type of mufflers that are quiet. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions of some quiet mufflers? I would prefer something around the noise of stock or a little louder then stock. Def not as loud as Borla haha. Thanks!

dumped will not be quiet no matter what muffler you stick under there. cut outs are a waste of money on TD's IMO. especially if they are dumped. i loved my TSP TD's.

Yea true... Just hate the look of exhaust tips on Camaros now! I just wanna have the option to make it "quieter" when needed I mean I'm sure if I do get cut outs they will be open all the time. But there is always those moments where you might run into cops & don't need them asking about my car.

then get a magnaflow/hooker with a cutout. dumped duals are not the right step in being quiet after a borla

You will have to get a large size muffler to be quiet with duals. Any bullet style muffler is going to be loud.

Yea I guess I'm just going to go true duals with Dynomax bullets dumped... See how it goes & if I need to change it I can always do that. Haha
