Skipping 99 T/A I was driving my 99 T/A to work this morning and had it set on 65 cruise..I had the radio really loud to keep me awake but when I got a mile or so from work something caught my ear..Car's exhaust note had changed significantly and was rather deep so I cut the radio down and hit the brake to see exactly what was going on. When I came off cruise it became apparent it was skipping. Once I pulled in and it was idling it dropped to about 500 rpm and is skipping pretty good. I also noticed a smell like burnt matches..
just plugs and wires? MAF?

I went outside and tugged on the wires then cranked it back up. It seemed to be idling ok so I gave it some gas and it started run like crap again. There also seems to be a rattle around the exhaust..Maybe the Cats stopped up?

anybody...? I took the driver side cat off and it was cracked up inside of it..still skipped like hell though...haven't taken the other side off yet

one other thing everytime I crank it up after its sat enough to cool down it has idled fine but went to **** anytime i give it gas and then the idle is messed up to..but again cold and idle until given gas it is fine...
