DMH Electric Cutout keeps blowing fuses HELP
Hey all I installed a DMH 3" electric cutout about a month ago. I tapped in the accessory plug for 12v power and grounded I believe right near the shifter base somewhere. It has worked fine up until now.
All of a sudden it keeps blowing fuses like nobodies business. I had a size 25 amp fuse in the fuse panel and it blew. I then changed it out for a 30 amp fuse and the motor closes, but does not open. When I press the close button for the cutout, the motor is making noise, but when I press the open button nothing happens and I watch the battery when pressing the switch open and it is drawing a lot more power than it is to close it. It is going well below the 13 line. What is the deal here?
I have not looked at the wiring ran through the car yet. Just looking for opinions first before I go taking it apart.
