How much can be gained with a better Y-Pipe

How much can be gained with a better Y-Pipe right now i have the crappy raspy y pipe from jethot....if i had a custom 3" y pipe made with a flowmaster collector how much is there to gain....5rwhpish?
my ypipe has NO rasp, but i changed the muffler setup too
i think a good ypipe will net about 8 hp over a shitty one. i know my old mac ypipe sucked and i notice a sotp difference when i changed it out
plus it gave me an excuse to throw two cutouts on there

. if the jet hot Y is 3" i dont see much gains from a custom 3" w/ flowmastser collector.
