Default Does LS6 intake/Ported/Polished TB Require dyno tuning?

I'm getting my car dyno tuned after I do heads and cam on my car but I don't have an LS6 intake yet. I wanted to wait to do it a little bit until I have more money and come across a good deal. Plus I want to save a few things so I don't get too bored of the car..

Anyways, will it require dyno time to retune the car for the intake manifold? The place I'm going to will adjust the tune for free afterwards unless it requires dyno time.

Mine has never been dyno tuned and it runs fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

Your doing it backwards. The intake and smaller boltons should be first because you can do without a tune untill you get bigger mods like heads and cam....THEN the tune so you aim to do it once.

well if hes absolutly getting the heads and cam first then yes a tune is a must after that. But if he can hold off and get the smaller ones first then its a different story.

i would get a retune to get the full potential out of the ls6 intake and the rest of the set up... you could run without a retune but it will never run at its full potential!
