losing power steering at random times
Drove my Camaro the other day, power steering was perfectly fine, totally normal. All of a sudden I had no power steering whatsoever. Parked the car, came back a while later, started the car and drove it, power steering was perfect.
After about 25 minutes of driving, it went out again. Parked it, went inside to go eat, came back out, started the car and drove it, power steering was again perfect.
Checked the fluid level and it has plenty of fluid and there are no leaks.
Is this an indication that the pressure relief valve in the pump is worn or no longer working? Bought the pump from here on tech, seller said it had 40k miles on it.
Thanks again for any help/advice

Thanks for the response. I thought that might be it also, but if the belt was slipping, wouldn't the other accessories have trouble also? Alternator/water pump?

****. ah well, thanks for the responses. Anyone have any recommendations for a ps pump? I might just get the Vatozone replacement unless someone's got a better suggestion.
