Question SLP sfc & FLP headers

Hey all I have a set of slp sfc on my car & im thinking of getting flp heaters & y,I have read that the sfc my have to be massaged for the setup to work.Is this something that can be done with a BFH or is there more to it then that.

A friend of mine(2xls1) had to cut off the rear cross brace on the driverside on his slp sfc when he installed his FLP's & y.. We also had to due the same with the Pacesetter ory on my car.
