Need Help Quick!!
Need Help Quick!! so yesterday i brought my car to get tuned and we drove it around and then shut it off. tried to start it in about 5 minutes and it wouldnt start. kept trying it and then it started. i drove it all the way home and it ran fine. got home and now it wont start again. the security light IS on. my starter works if i put power to it. i checked and the main power wire for the starter has power. also checked my starter and igniton fuse and relays. i checked the wiring in the steering column as well and its all connected good. what else could cause this??

The security light means VATS is giving you trouble. Probably the wires in the ignition that reads the resistor on the key are worn. Check out this thread:
