Default Upstream GM Oxygen Sensors?

Ok so Ive been told that pretty much every aftermarket O2 sensor for this car is a piece of crap. Ive located a great price on brand new factory O2 Sensors. Ive had my rear O2's turned off in HP tuners so Im not going to worry about them till I move back to Texas next year. On the upstream sensors ive been told I can use the corvette upstream sensors as well and they are the same sensor they just have a longer wire which will work better when I get long tubes. Is this correct? It saves me a little over $50 to use the corvette pieces than to use the fbody pieces. I just want to make sure they are compatable before I order them.

Yes...Sensors are the same with different length wires. Actually the front and rear sensors are also the same with different length wires.

Get the Denso O2's from rockauto.com...Both upstream sensors shipped to your house for about 80 bucks. here's the kicker...the stock GM AC-Delco O2 sensors selling for around 150 a piece (the ones that actually work with no problems) are actually Denso O2 sensors, just renamed to AC Delco by HM and sold to make money. Different package, same sensor, all Denso. Saves you like 220 bucks. Btw the O2 sensors from the vettes if i'm not mistaken are Bosch 13111 O2 sensors. Bosch is junk, and i have heard from most that the 13111 O2's swapped for the header install get screwy and very hard to tune if you want your car tuned

^ I still have my stockers but bought some spare Bosch pieces based on the fact that 90% of the people here recommended them. And any tuner worth their salt should be using WBO2's installed in the Y-Pipe to get a truly accurate reading. Not relying souly off the sniffer or on board O2's.

It's the corvette rears that you want, not the fronts. They have the correct length for LT's. If you're going to install them on manifolds first, though, you're going to have a lot of wire to tie up and keep away from hot places.

I found a used set of Corvette rears on here with about 40k on them. They've been in my car for a while now and have worked better than any of the Densos or Bosch's I wasted money on.

I think im going to buy a set of fbody upstreams for the moment, they are cheap enough I dont want to have to worry about the wires getting burnt or something stupid. And my tuner has told me to go with nothing but ac delco o2 sensors. He will be tuning it with a wideband but the wideband isnt staying in the car unless i can come up with a few hundred extra $$$$.
