I switched to a new throttle body and my cable has too much slack, is there anyway to fix this and make the cAble a bit tighter?
When I bought my car it already had a switched TB...... the slack had been taken out by four or five split shot fishing weights.... lol
Not saying thats the way it should be done ........... but if your in a bind....

do you have traction control? if so then there should be a clip mid way up through the tb cable where you can undo it shorten it then reinstall the clip. if you dont have traction control then you will need to bend the pedal slightly from what i hear
Yes like stated if you have TCS, just search for the clip, unhook in either push in/out depending what you need to make it hit bump stop. When you adjust it put clip in place & have a buddy WOT it so you can visually see it hitting the bump stop.
This is the clip you want to unhook. Passenger side. Just follow the TB cable from the TB on back. Should be the first clip

I bought a P&P TB and had to adjust the cable because it had a smaller cam.

Too much slack probably means not enough draw.
If you pull the pedal arm and slip a piece of pipe over
the cable end with the pedal end in a vise, it's easy
to put another 10-20 degrees in the bend and all
better.
All the throttle cams I have seen ('02 Camaro, truck
and the Pro Products assortment) have the same length
of draw around the cam. The shape on the late model
F-body only makes you push the pedal more for the
same opening angle at low throttle, and makes it up
at the big end. Probably got them half a MPG in the
city cycle, or something.
But you can make the cam open faster per draw by
drilling an offset mounting hole in the cam that puts the
shaft closer to the edge and makes the radius smaller,
on the Pro Products TB with its threaded shaft end.
Could also add an extension to the pedal arm and put
the cable end in that, getting more draw per pedal
angle.
But bending is free and probably enough.
