fast help! rusty red/brown plugs whats this mean? the car has been running so bad! 98 LS1 t/a its throwin misfire codes too and runs horible under 3500 rpm

head gasket should be fine. its actually burning oil. i am thinking the car is running lean, causing detonation which made the rings go to **** which is why its burning oil really bad. its on my friends 98 t/a i did check the coolant though and the level is still full as can be after like a month

lean is white/ashy/gray. Is it CRUD? like does it flake off, if so, that sounds like water or contaminant.
Go put some new ones on and then check in a few more days. you dont use that gas crap they sell what is it methanol/ethanol mix right?

its my friends car and what he told me was that he only uses regular 93 octane from the pump, thats it. when we replaced the stock plugs they were fine, we put in some new ones and then they looked like this. we did put some more in to see how they will look in about 2 weeks.
