Default Catch Can Install PCV Location

I know this has been beat to death, but I can't find a solid answer. Does the PCV valve on a 2000 LS1 go between the catch can and intake or does if go between the catch can and the hose going to the backside of the valve cover like shown in these directions or does it really make a damn

I picked up a Mike Norris catch can and the new design PCV valve from WS6Store

Cool I got it all hooked and my car seems to idle so much better now. It had the original variable orfice PCV valve in it and it was all gummed up with stuff.
