Quiestest Mufflers to weld into catback?
Hey guys I am going to be a new owner of a Camaro ss very soon but not unfamiliar with LSX. Anyway I would like to weld in the quietest mufflers into the catback to keep the sound down when I want and I will have an E-cutout for performance/sound. So I dont care AT ALL about restriction problems, Just want a good sounding but quiet catback/mufflers.
** I did search alot but Its hard to find people with stock catbacks or quiet restricted exhaust.

Okay I do like manaflow, Thats a possibility. I do however really would like to get the SLP Dual/Daul muffler. Does anyone know if I can get The SLP dual/dual muffler new?

They do not make the dual/dual anymore. Most mufflers will be quiet unless you get a straight threw muffler, single chamber, or two chamber 40 series.. My vote goes to aerochamber. However if you plan on doing long tubes nothing is going to be quiet.

Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers are going to be the quietest you can get and still maintain good flow. If you're really not at all concerned about choking the crap out of the motor, then a stock replacement muffler will certainly give you the most noise reduction.

Yea I guess I will have to get Stock mufflers to be the quietest possible with long tubes. I looked at one car that I will most likely buy and it had GMMG Chambered catback with slp catted Y-pipe and stock manifolds, and I have to say that it was pretty loud for not having LT's. I wouldnt mind it being this loud after adding headers, so i guess this catback would have to come off?
Thanks for the info guys!
***If any of you would want to sell a stock (nice cond.) catback within the next few weeks let me know....

I'm going to keep my stock exhaust when I get ARH LT headers here pretty soon. I like the look/sound of the stock muffler and tips. But I will have an electric cutout with a turndown before the real axle for the times I am feelin' spicey.
Thought long about this and that is what I decided.

Does anyone have sound clips of headers and stock catback? Its hard to find people with this setup, just want to here the tone of stock mufflrs with LT's.
Thanks again for the good ideas.
