I truly think this will more than satisfy, if anything at least your tuner. Good luck.

thanks alot, its def a good option for me. i spke with jason at TSP and he said the 100mm MAF would be great aslong as my tuner is fine with it, its tricky to tune from what he said. still wna look into/speek with my tuner about speed density

of course its great lol, they need to sell products.. for the money you can't beat the 85mm GM maf.. if you step up to a 100mm maf be prepared to get a lid that fits correctly AND clears the hood.. some modification is probably going to be needed.

You must have $$$ burning a hole in your pocket. The parts that you want to buy will make very small gains and cause you tuning headaches. SD tuning is for cars with much more radical setups than yours. The easiest and most reliable is a good tune when you do your heads. Buy your self a good set of heads and you will be in the 450 rwhp range with your stock maf. The stock maf will be fine up to 500 rwhp. Ask me how I know....cause thats where I am...

i have all parts, all i need to buy if i dont go speed density is a maf and 98+mm lid. i dont have money burning a hole in my pocket thats why i dont have heads. if i can make 430 wheel say(at veryyyyyy best) im not dropping close to 2g for 20hp. with not wanting to spend money on heads i wana buy the little thing for around or under 500bux to get those few hp cause with cam intake only, every horse is worth it to me.

The only place you make 430 without a good set of heads is on fantasy island dude.

PS A good set of heads makes more than 20 hp. You do not have to spend 2K for a good set of heads.

look on Ebay.. I bought mine for $35 shipped used but guaranteed in working condition. I then had to buy the adapter plug which was about $25-30 I believe from AutoWiringSolutions.. also on ebay.. can't help you with the lid to maf adapter cause I stepped up my game and went with the 98mm air lid

mine fit just fine with the hood closed all the way.. but I forgot the motor moves around when driving and after I installed it and drove for a bit it had a nice scratch on it.. easily fixable with sanding and buffer though (i got the clear one) What I'm going to do to remedy the situation is trim the underneath of the air lid support base, you know, the piece that has the (4) 10mm bolts and attaches to the top of the radiator, that way the air lid will sit lower.

I got mine from Speed Inc but I don't think FTP is making it anymore.. so if you wanted it you'd have to go to the classifieds or call around maybe. I actually plan to airbrush mine some time, not the whole thing, like a design where you can still see through the lid at the same time. I think it will turn out pretty sweet.

yea that'll look good. Ive run into a HUGE dilemma, 85mm GM maf with adapter plug new(cause i dont do ebay/or have paypal acct.) is 220.00. the TSP 100mm with adapter is 249.99. not a big price jump. def guna go with ftp 98mm and car will be dyno tuned. i am emailing my tuner after this post to see what he says. your input will help too.(if their is anymore!)

I'm sure you could find a much better deal on here for an 85mm maf that you could send a money order for etc seen as you don't have a PayPal acct. Here's one I just searched for and found and is still available. https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...-85mm-maf.html

I've seen the adapter harness for sale in the classifieds also.
