Slave cylinder question
I have a '98 with a list of built-ons. I've been running a GM slave for an '02 LS-6 set-up because I heard they hold more pressure than the '98 LS-1 slaves. I also heard one guy say to run a slave out for a Viper, since they already make a lot more horse and torque than a stock LS motor. But I'm not familiar with the Vipers clutch system, even though they are the same transmission. Would one work on my car?
Also, if I stay GM, which one would be best?
Part # 89059282 (LS-6)
or
Part # 15046288
?
The slave I have on it now is a pretty new GM slave and the throw-out bearing is already dead and it doesn't seam to be holding the pressure like it should. Any advise?
