Gains from Hooker LT Headers
You can see my current modifications in my signature below. My current best times in the quarter mile are 12.87 seconds at 105.36 mph with a 60-foot time of 1.82 seconds. My question is how much improvement should I expect? I am hoping for 12.5 seconds at 110 mph in the quarter. Does any one else have a similar setup? If so what times are you achieving?
I am having a before and after dyno done. I am curious to see how much HP I can get. The only down side is that they have a Mustang dyno. They tend to yield lower numbers than the Dynojet. It should still give me an accurate representation of how much I gain. Saturday when I get home from picking it up I will post the results.
Thanks,
Al
You should get pretty close to that 12.50 or beat it, everything held equal.
I gained 19 hp and about 25 ft-lbs. On a Mustange Dyno I ended up with 325hp and 356 ft-lbs. It also had the ability to do quarter miles runs. I ran two times. The first was 12.468 at 111.361 mph and the second was 12.454 at 111.276 mph. They claim that most of the people that have did there quarter mile time came fairly close when they went to the track.
I hope this is the case. That would be almost a half second improvement and almost 6 mph. I won't know for sure of the real track times until this fall when the track opens.
