Default question about cold air/ ram air installation

I gotta pretty simple question. I did the FRA mod to my car when I first got it. However, I think I cut the plastic radiator shroud to much. To much cutting towards the engine. I notice when I am sitting still I get a shitton of heat coming up through my air filter. I would really like to get some type of ram air/cold air induction for my car. Whether it be SLP, FTRA, etc... Will it be possible to install these with the FRA mod done like it is? If I need to I can get some pics up later.

thanks

If I understand what you're saying correctly, yes the ram air setup would help because they have a flat top base to sit above the radiator.

Thanks man. I did some checking and kinda figured it would work, but I wanted to double check. I"m not so sure that the cheaper SLP kind will help a lot, but I figure it might help deflect some heat. they are like $110 or something so everybody little bit helps. Anybody feel a noticeable difference with the SLP version?

You would have to cut the airbox like that for cai anyway. Heres some results...
