You need everything from the headers back.

You'll need the headers, the mid pipe (since you're doing true duals you'll need either an x-pipe or h-pipe), the mufflers you want (whatever sound you like best) and then you'll need turn down tips, unless you plan on having an exhaust shop run it out the rear, then you should probably get tips, but if you're dumping it before the axle, you'll want turn down tips

It depends on what you are doing with your car, and your budget. Texas speed makes a nice true setup. If you skip on the 02 sensors you will run rich unless you tune. Tuning is neccesary to pull every bit of power from your exhaust that you can. If your streeting your car youll need cats and o2 sensor extensions with your set up. Mufflers if you go with a setup that doesnt have them already, like one youll find in an exhaust shop. You may also need connectors like ubolts if your doing this in your driveway. You also might want to pick up a book. You should learn about cars in general before wasting money on things that may or may not work well with eachother. I do suggest, by the nature of your question, that you have some one knowledgable install your headers

Dumping it befor the axle is cheaper and easier.

Yes, an x-pipe seems to be the preferred mid pipe for true duals. You'll want a bullet style muffler also, your brand of choice depending on the sound you like the best.

No, to the SLP tips. Why fancy high-dollar plated tips, hidden under the car?!?
If you want to 'dump before the rear axle', yes, now you're gettin' your layout a bit better. (Minus the SLP tips you've added to your list.)

If you want it to sound like a dump truck or some ranchers old Ford truckster, then you're headed down the right path.

If you want a better quality sound, then you'll need to do some more research.
If you dump under your backseat, ..., that's 1970's technology with a 1968 Ford Torino.

Go to LS1Sounds.com & listen to many combinations.
There are some 'true duals' that feed all the way to the back bumper that will 'sound' much better, IMO.

Some additional information may help the OP.
http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp...d=196&catid=56

Of course this will simply bolt up tot he LT's, but then you'll still need to finish it out. So not much help unless you have the capability of building the rest of the system, or if you have a local exhaust shop that can build it for you.

Do some research on the "Kooks True Duals" system. Very nice, but costly.
Some good exhaust shops may be able to build something similar for a lot less money.

Bassani makes a true dual kit, not the cheapest. You can get PaceSetter longtubes, texas speed x-pipe and then take it to an exhaust shop and have them fab up the piping from the end of the x-pipe to the rear bumper.

hey man, im running the exact setup your wanting. I have pacesetter longtubes, and i just installed TSP 3" Duals with dynomax bullets dumped. I love the sound. the ground clearance might not be the greatest. But i will say, your best bet is just to call Texas Speed and order your pacesetters and dual setup from them.

So are you still doing duals? Cause from what I just quoted it sounds like you're going with a y-pipe setup and a magnaflow catback.

If you're still doing duals I guess you're getting two bullet magnaflow mufflers then having an exhaust shop run the piping to the rear of the car...

Honestly, I would do a little more research on exhaust before you jump to spend money on something you think is something it's not.
