I was originally thinking hooker lts and a hooker o/r y pipe but now I'm unsure. I have the gmmg catback and want something that is gonna give me the best rumble/roar out of my car and the best performance I can get with em. Give me ur opinions and sound clips! Thanks guys!!

Hooker is like the best out of the cheaper headers,I would also look into texas speeds headers I've heard good things about them, but hooker imho are good headers,if you want the best kooks is the best, really any longtubes are gonna make your car loud as all hell,it will sound great but if your planning on a cam down the road you might wanna think of getting a catted y,with a cam your exhaust will get a lot louder ,trust me,I had a lm1,ory,and a ms4 cam with longtubes and if my car was running the walls in the house would shake,I'm gonna run true duals next year will still be loud but sound a lot better,

buy tsp 1 7/8 headers or just go all out and get some ARH,QTP, or KOOKS stainless steel stuff.

if you plan on ever doing H/C/I i'de go with TSP 1 7/8's. if not then do what i did and grab pacesetters untill you make up your mind i'll soon be going to PRC heads, ms3, FAST 102, and TSP 1 7/8 through the same Y and cat back. and MAYBE a 4" cut out if i'm feeling randy

and to answer your questions, yes to all.

if i were in the market right now for some headers i would definitely do a 1 7/8 header for sure especially TSP 1 7/8 header.

As far as catbacks, i just got rid of my magnaflow for a TSP duals with dynomax bullets dumped. I would go with the hooker catback, or GMMG (if u got the money) or duals.

i had a 3" catback and y-pipe for a while before i went to the 4" and all i can say is never ever ever ever again

true duals OR 3.5" or bigger Y-pipe/cat back. and basically mufflex is the only one i know of that makes big diameter cat backs for our cars.

So how would you go about connecting the 4" catback to a 3" Y? Or does Mufflex make a 3" too?

The Mufflex necks down to 2.75 to match up to the stock Y pipe. Or you can use a cone merge to take it from 4" to 3"

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'm thinking the tsp 1 7/8 headers, tsp duals, and dynomax bullets dumped. I take it you're welding the bullets on to the duals?

And you guys are saying that you're using the Dynomax bullet mufflers on the tsp x pipe..did you cut the tsp bullets off and weld dynomax bullets in or are you using the tsp bullets it comes with?
