Default starter power wire

Does the starter power wire just goto the + battery post or does it also run to the auxilary post too?

It runs straight to the starter. I just replaced all my heavy wire under my hood and I will tell you how mine was routed....

+---> single wire to Alt.
+---> single wire to aux terminal
+---> single wire to starter

Neg---> single wire to passenger side of block
Neg---> single wire to top of passenger fender

Thats it under my hood.

Ok. That's what I thought do you think itd be an issue relocating it to the auxillary terminal?

Putting the starter wire directly onto the aux terminal instead of connecting it to the battery?

when i put my MSD starter in i ran a cable from the batt to the starter

01ssreda4 - yes instead of having the power wire for the starter go straight to the battery, have it go to the auxiliary post.

I'm looking to relocate my battery and I'm thinking it'd be easier to run the power wire from the rear to the auxiliary post and relocate all front power going to the battery positive there too.

As long as the wire gauge is heavy enough to supply the current the starter needs then yes it will be fine. Starter will function normally.
