They're functionally the exact same. They probably weigh similar. Umi's are one peice vs these which are welded together...but the welds are very good. Just get whatever's cheaper.

Good price. They look like nice pieces. I guess my question is, why do I want these instead of say, a set of spohns? The answer could be obvious, I'm asking because I genuinely don't know. I can see that these would compliment a bmr k member perfectly though.

Spohn is the motor mount and pedestal all one peice. They don't work with aftermarket k-members. They also raise the engine up 1". Spohn mounts are for people using factory k member with turbo's as they need as much room as possible for piping. Bmr kmembers are for drag racing....umi is for street and road racing.
