Does any exhaust sound good without cats?

SLP dual dual with a cutout is an amazing setup. Quiet cruising around and sounds sick at wide open throttle. Open the cutout for a nice gain in power, 15rwhp in my case.

I have been through several exhaust on my car and fabbed up exhaust on other cars including : Dynomax bullets, Summit bullets, Hooker aerochamber cat-back, single chamber Flowmaster in 4 inch in/out, and the knock off single chamber in the 3 inch in/out, Jegs cat-back, Stainless-werks bullets, Magnaflow bullets. And I can honestly say, they were almost all raspy as ****. The only one that stands out as being the least raspy is the Jegs cat-back. This was run with LTs and ORY. It honestly sounds really good, and is fairly tame at idle and sounds off at WOT. I could describe it as a very old school muscle car sound, similar to a Flowmaster but without the drone and rasp. The knock off single chamber was pretty tame too but it was on a higher mileage LT1 so that may have had something to do with it.
