Does anyone know if the hooker maxflow muffler would sound similar to the slp 2otl, since they are very similar in construction even down to the case shape? My car came with the 2otl and I like the sound but am getting tired of the look.

 

Get some new tips ,I'm sure the slp is stainless just clean it up, there is no point in buying a new cat back when you like the one you have,I don't think the hooker looks all that good anyway,looks cheap besides a magnaflow or other ss systems

 

I'm not even talking about the hooker catback. I don't like the look of the 2 tailpipes on one side of the car. I'm talking about sticking a hooker maxflow muffler in the back and a hideaway tailpipe like the mufflex. I just want to know if the maxflow sounds similar to the 2otl muffler since they are basically the same construction.

I ordered a 3inch in and out for stock location but have not got it yet.I hope they sound good.I can't find a sound clip on a ls1.
