Project advice So i bought me an aluminum block 5.7l today. out of a 2000 ss camaro. Im plannin on swappin it into my 2000 rcsb 2wd silverado. So far my plans are 4:10 gears adn locker in the rear end, and a 4000 stall in the 4spd auto. Then comes the motor... i plan on purchasin the stg 2 5.3l head/cam combo from Texas-Speed with my cam choice being the 233/239 with a 112 lobe seperation, with a fast 108mm and throttle body atop that. with pacesetter long tube headers, 3" exhaust with electric cut outs. and a offroad h-pipe and borla xr1's. Also i plan on a 100 shot. Just seein what u guys (and girls) think of my combo, any advice and or opinions are very welcome for this is my first build so please feel free to say anything haha

I forgot to mention to mention my fuel mods haha, and i got a greattt deal, a complete ls1 with a lifter tickin for 500 bucks, and i heard it run b4 he pulled it. and im hopin to make 435ish all motor then 475-500 with the spray, and if everything works out and i can get the et streets to hook im hopin to break mid 12's...i guess we'll see
