Its not ghetto, but will probably be so loud it will annoy the **** out of you. I had an open cutout on my old 99 Z28, dumped before the axle. Loud as ****, sounded great, but super annoying, and that was with stock cats/manifolds. I ended up having the cutout taken out and just put in a straight piece of pipe where the magnaflow muffler was, sounded great and didn't drone in the interior so bad. You could hear it on the highway, but it wasn't too bad.

So I'd say see how much an exhaust shop quotes you on running a straight pipe out the bumper with a bullet type resonator on it. Trust me, it'll sound just as good, but it will save your sanity.

Here's the tip on my old 99 Z28, it was off a stock 2000ish-2006 Yukon Denali.

I have pacesetter lts, 3in ory, magnaflow bullet w/ electric cutout before, to stock exhaust. Sounds Awsome open, and quiet When u want it to be(200 miles a week highway)(also 11 sec sleeper)

My current exhaust is set up like this with a magnaflow bullet and sounds pretty good, I posted a video of it a few weeks ago.

i just dont get it! for the guys who said it sounds good. is the car your DD? i had my muffler removed for a week jst for fun and i was on stock mani and cats and it is annoying! loud is nice for 2-3 days or a weekend cruiser but DD? am sure with LTs ory and bullet dumped its gonna drone your ears off

I thought it looked pretty cool, seems like everybody with Camaros ALWAYS has the two tips running out the back. I wanted another tip like that on the passenger side, but you know with the way the exhaust is routed on these cars it would be impossible to do.

Sounded really nice too, kind of like a bass boat.

I have that exact setup. It is miserable riding around town and its raspy at times. It was temporary though. People will def notice you. I had a lady sitting at a stop light next to me covering her ears LOL.

Yup mine is my DD, I love it. It only drones a little on the interstate at about 80mph. Sad part is, I took my dynomax off last week just for the hell of it and it wasn't any louder until I got up past 3k rpm's and then it was just raspy and kinda truck sounding.
