Question Time to upgrade?

Hey guys, just did a head/cam swap on my SS and was wondering with my mods to date(in sig)if it's time to upgrade to the 85mm MAF?

Also, if so, are the ones on eBay any good? And would I have to remove any resistor?

Thanks!

Note: Currently just running stock MAF descreened

I really don't think they are worth much power until you break at least 450+. You also have to get the maf tables in your tune calibrated.

GM truck maf's are on ebay all day long in the $50 range and work fine...

So you're saying it's not really worth it at this time?

It's a DD...and I live in a more mountainous reason of GA...basically anytime I took a trip or seasons change I'd have to retune

stick with the stock one until you go above 450rwhp. then go for the 85mm MAF that came stock on vehicles. no need to spend the $$ on aftermarket ones yet.
