Default question about spintech mufflers

I wanna run spintech with my new Kooks LT/Y setip but i wanna run a CME type setup with normal round tips not the flat ones. Can you mount the pipes coming out of those mufflers wherever you want? Like could i mount the muffler like it normally sits in there and then cut to 3" holes in the side to run them straight back to tips under the license plate? or should i just bend the **** out of the pipes around the muffler?

Yeah I'm lost also,if your asking if you can run it with a cme you shouldn't have an issue with a pair of 90 degree bends, cut the tail pipes and add the 90s to the cme tip

you can mount them before the tips would normally go on a Camaro, then bend piped to the CME

What the OP seems to be asking/saying is, if he can cut 2 holes in the side of the muffler (where the muffler side faces the gas tank) and run the pipes straight to the back (under the gas tank) to the tips (arent CME tips, im guessing something like Magnaflow, Corsa Clones & etc. style since he mentions round tips).

OP, by doing that your going to just ruin the muffler. Ive seen an exhaust, i believe it was locally where the pipes coming out the muffler that go straight out the back were bent in somewhat towards the middle to where it lined up the tips right under the license plate. The tips the guy was running were the Rectangular/Z28 style tips.
