I apologize! I'm only 155! But I was 165 at my last plug change

Anyway my arms still bare the scars from those "F"ing plastic plugs under the cowl!!!
That bolt is tough as hell, but it is such a wonderful feeling to remove it and throw it in the bushs!

This is the best advise I could give too. It cuts the work time in half. I get to #8 from the top and I actually have a harder time with #6. A 1" extension helps a good bit too.

well just finnished the window motor it was easy.it took me longer to put the door panel back in
all you have to do is take off panel, find motor, find the rivets, drill 3 holes in the in the panel in front of motor, drill out rivets, make the holes big enough for the three bolts on the motor and bracket, bolt it on and your done
all together about a 1.5 hour job

You aint kiddin'. When I got done with mine I looked like I had just been in a fight with a barbed wire fence!

After many plug swaps I have got it down to a science in 30 minutes with only removing the air tubes. I use a deep spark plug socket on number 8 that I put on first. Then I use a small swivel on a regular 3/8 ratchet. Hands are always tore up from those pointed coil pack bolts and the wrench breaking lose pulling the plugs. Now I use motocross gloves.

I think I did 5 or 6 plug swaps last year on the Z.....thats in like 7k miles only
damn thing was fouling up the plugs quicker than I could **** on em
THAT is why Im relocating my coils under the cowl, and already had Jantzers' shave/powdercoat my valvecovers

Trust me its not that bad! Half hour to 45 min. tops. Don't even bother getting 8 from the top. *8 from the botttom 5 min. I was all worried from what everyone said. No big deal at all. One shop quoted 6 hours to change them!

its not that bad, my brother did the driver side in like 15 minutes, unbolted all the bolts on the coil pack except the last one and lifted up on it...i had the #8 out in less that 10 minutes from the top(did that one first), and the rest took me about 5 minutes, so in all we took about 30-35 minutes... not as babd as they say..or as it looks when you first start..just dont wash your hands right away with strong soap..cause you will have some cuts on them
