Heres a full proof plan. Keep your dump then take a cat back and where yours is dumped cut the catback to fit, then round off the end of the cat back so it fits up to your turndown and weld it so it looks like you have a full exhaust, but it never enters the over axle part because it turns down. Dont know if you understand that but I bet it could fool lots of cops if you turn it down towards the inside so the cop cant see the hole. Understand at all lol??

norcal is a bit slow but the people are all around your area and are usually very nice about helping with stock items.

Yeah dude calli sucks. Love texas 3in duals, single chambers run out the back. Super loud and cops give me a thumbs up lol. the pips to run to the back shouldn't be more than 200...intalled and welded

well I got an estimate from a place out in Manteca, CA about 15 mins away and they can get me a set welded for just under 200 the big gripe they have is getting the pipe over the axle which is the hard part...so far there an option outside of buying a LM I was able to find a few under 250 for the full cat-back so thats a thought.

Alabama must be the exact opposite of California with how they enforce exhaust stuff. Down here you could get away with having your tail pipes routed thru your headlights with flames shooting over the hood. If they hit the lights behind you you've got a 50% chance that all they want is for you to get out of their way so they can run a red light and make it to the nearest BBQ joint.

I have a Flowmaster Muffler connected to stock tips at the house still. Just been sitting out back for a while since I took it off the car to do my exhaust. Basically it's an axleback setup. We chopped the over the axle part since we didn't think we'd be using it, but any welding skills would fix that no problem.

PM me if interested.

Get a Gibson catback, they have two versions (aluminized and stainless). I have the stainless one which was $450.

The #1 reason why I would not live there would be exactly that reason. BUT I do love San Diego sooooo much I might suck it up.

It use to be 70 so I went with the old speed limit didn't know it changed story.. well to make matters worse I thought hey the ticket shouldn't be too bad...10 miles is around 200+ and I can probably fight it...(not sure if I will) read the ticket today....10 mph over speed limit + wreckless driving...wtf???!!! talked to a buddy at the police academy seems like my city has gotten a little rotten and decided anything at 10+ would be considered wreckless driving and anything beyond that would be endangerment.....maybe its time to put the camaro back in the damn garage and drive the Lancer....wtf I've gotten more tickets in this car the past 6 months than I had in my years of driving combine...(6 total-5 fixit)

I could never live in Cali again. I'm not about to do the emissions BS on my little V8 car when there's plenty of Semi trucks and military vehicles, power plants and everything else making WAY more emissions problems than my car. Besides the car issues there, I couldn't even own a damn AR-15. CUCK FALI!

In too much agreement that Cali laws suck! If you want anything real, move out of that god for saken liberal state! In seriousness, read the laws and try your best to adhere to them. Major problem is that you can pass everything, BUT a cop pulling ou over cause he "thinks" something is wrong can/will cost you $$$ to clear up on matter how legal your system is; CARB number or not...

i used to work in stockton, yeah the cop there aren't very friendly but look at the population. right in the area i worked in i heard sirens every night and gunshots . . . i really don't think most people would mind if stockton vanished in a plume of fire lol j/k seriously though the laws are gettin ridiculous here and most of the population is a waste of air and resources. btw if i would've seen this thread sooner i would've told you the muffler shop i go to thats in ceres, the price is very good and they do excellent work. good luck with everything man
