After looking closer, it appears I don't LS2 rails.. maybe LS3? The auction on eBay said LS2

I thought they were the same anyways?? Mine are slightly different though..

I talked to John Williams at FAST this afternoon. He said the intake and new style rails were designed to work with a LS2 injector. To do it that way you just don't use the spacer for the LS1 injector. He said the brackets are the same. Which makes sense after I think about it because the mounting locations are the same but the LS1 uses a spacer raising it up.

Is there a part number on the fuel rail? You might be able to google it or call John@SDPC and have him check. It looks awful wide to fit that intake.

LS2 & LS3 fuel rails are the exact same I am 1000% positive.

The wide bolt pattern suggests that those are actually LS7 fuel rails, which will not work on the FAST intake. If they really were LS2/LS3 they would line up. Like below, it is using 146021-KIT for LS1 (Long) fuel injectors. This kit comes with the fuel rails and everything needed.

^ Look at the mounting tabs tack'd to the rails in both pics. In the supposed LS7 picture, the tab is not as wide as the installed LS3 rails on the bird below. I dunno.. Just a subtle difference.

Not sure if I'm gonna do the LS3 rails or billet on mine. Just got my hands on some sweet injector action though.. Intake is on the way now. Mamo sent it over and he's in Cali, so it's gonna take a bit. Not in a HUGE hurry, but I want parts to drool over.

And Chon79 doesn't seem to have a regulator hooked up.. Is there something different about the LS3 setup?

Common misconception......

Your fuel pressure regulator is in tank. The thing everyone thinks is a "pressure regulator" is a pulse damper.

^ Ahh.. Then why does everyone run a regulator up top? Like the A1000..

A1000 is an external pump that requires an external regulator

Bottom near pricing in small product description.

Yup as shown in the engine bay pic on my car, I used the LS2 Fuel Rail Kit from FAST. Came with the o rings to use my LS1 injectors.

Just wanted to throw some more info out. First I want to thank Sweets10V8 for the help.

I have the billet rails to use w/ LS1 style injectors and want to use LS2 injectors(they are 34lb's and that way I don't have to buy new ones)

I talked to FAST today and found out I can order just the brackets to use with the LS2 injectors which are shorter. They were only like 5 bucks a piece.

I would know what's the size for the fitting that installed with the fuel pressure gauge ?

Its 1/8" NPT. The parts in the picture are a part of a FAST kit. You can choose a kit with the gauge or without the gauge.

Pics from last week. Got a custom feed line made. 24" with a quick disconnect. -6 line, IIRC.

FAST makes a kit specifically for these cars, so you dont need custom anything. You just bolt it on. Comes with that same adaptor, -6 AN feed line, -8 AN crossover, etc.

This is it in this picture. I think its $125 for the entire F-body specific fuel line kit

^ Feed line I HAD was too short. Just supported the locals and got another one made. Not a big deal to me. When you don't have the FAST kit, you gotta made what you have work. This was a rigged deal that plugged into my stock plastic line and was pulling the stocker funny. Just eliminated my stock plastic line and ran a braided one.
