MSD-8733 2-Step
MSD-8733 2-Step Do anyone have a complete write up installing the MSD 2 step? Want to install mine through the clutch and want to know the exact wires to connect with. Thanks
I used the starter safety switch for mine. I pulled the factory wires out of that switch and connected them, so now the car starts without pressing the clutch in (be careful!!). I took the msd 2 step activation wire and ran it to one side of the switch, then ran the other side to a ground. So when the clutch is pushed all the way to the floor the 2 step is activated, and it shuts off as soon as soon as the pedal moves.
i've searched all over, and none of these threads give me the answers i need either. i have the "8733" 2 step. 97 c5. what wire do i hook up to ground and what wire do i hook up to the clutch switch? there is a blue wire and a blue/white wire coming out of the box. also, there are two switches for the clutch. the one up top (clutch engaged) has a purple wire and gray wire. And the switch at the floor (clutch fully disengaged) has a purple wire and a yellow wire. please help!!!!!
