Default I found your motor lol

How about an all aluminum 500ci motor lol

Say if you know of a more cost effective way to getting 500ci's

Throw it out there,

Of course *aluminum* Ranks high for myself

Thanks

^ why wont it feel right? what car you want to put it on? 4th gen? it will still cost more. if you love your car it is worth it. you will enjoy it forever. but that is too much money to waste on a motor

Ah the luxury of affording an engine that costs roughly 1/3 of my total mortgage! Must be nice right?

So nobody has got any ideas for an all aluminum 500ci motor

Well I'm disappointed *

Thus far I'm thinking I may have my LS6 Sleeved with Darton MID sleeves and stroke it to a 440

I do like that 500 number tho

**** I go with ERL think theres is cheaper if thats the correct word. And really would never worry about the block being Iron when you have 500ci.

Looks nasty!

Not the most cost effective 700+ hp you would spend but I am sure you could easily drop a shot of juice and be over a 1000 hp easy.

I saw a motor that was a 500ci ls motor. What they did was is put a piece of metal that was like 2" thick (car remember exactly) on top of the deck then put a sleve in it and then bolted the head down on top of that. They also used spacers to make the intake fit. It was awesome. I saw it at the LSX shoot out in 09.
