My guess is you haven't done much to your suspension yet -- best give Sam Strano a call... http://stranoparts.com

It can be much-improved...

If only I could find a place to go drive with solids -- that's the trouble with a lot of aftermarket parts -- near impossible sometimes to find a way to test drive with them before buying...

But WHY? Talk about the benefits, not just an unsupported answer... Inquiring minds want to know!

I personally didnt notice much more shake from the solids over stockers and i had a h/c (243s/MS4). To me everything feels more confident and likes to move easier cuz the drivetrain is movin around. I put down better dyno #'s, picked up .05-.1 at the track, and had much much better throttle responce.

Get the motavtive solids and a prothane tranny mount and youll thank me once you get everything in the car

The Prothane and Energy Suspension mounts are very similar. We have always used and sold the Prothane mounts and had good luck.

Solid mounts will stiffen the ride quality and can add vibrations to the car so make sure you are aware of this. People have different opinions on what is harsh and what is not so keep that in mind. Also different engine combination such as a cam ect will change how the car feels with solid mounts.

If you do decide to look at solid motor mounts please keep our new light weight aluminum design in mind. They are machined from a solid piece of aluminum, hard anodized and weigh in 3lbs lighter than factory or polyurethane mounts.

If I can with any questions please ask. Thank you!

Solids wont make much of difference in ride quality. Do a search, there's even a video that shows how much vibrations are added. Very few people that have gone with solids have switched them out for rubber or polys.

I vote Prothane. I couldn't feel the difference from stock either and they're affordable.

its alot easier to install and remove headers with the rubber mounts.you can move the engine and trans up or down.

I just did a full umi front end and used the prothane i noticed the motor mounts before anything else car has 121,000 on the factory mounts and it made tone of difference what i thought was a weak tranny mount on the 6 speed turned out to be weak motor mounts

I have to admit that my stock motor mounts were in great shape; that may be why I didn't notice a difference.
