Default gaskets

Just wanted to know whether or not I need gaskets for the AIR connection on my new Jet-hots. I'm guessing I do, but figured I'd ask where you guys got yours if I do need them. Also, by any chance is anyone using the (I guess theyre like a graphite or something) gaskets that come with the Jet-hot headers??
Thanks

I've reused my gaskets many times as long as they looked decent, throughout my many installs and removals on my car. I've finally deleted all that crap, so its no longer an issue, but they were graphite type gaskets from GM.

Yes, you need gaskets for the AIR connections. In fact, you should get (4) gaskets because you should also be installing the AIR Restrictor Plates - so you'll need a gasket for each side of the plate.

Use the stock exhaust gaskets and bolts.

thanks

It's not an absolute must - but without them you will hear a fluttering noise from the valve (black item that is screwed onto the AIR tube) and there is a posibility of 'burning out the valve'

The plates are very cheap - basically you could make them yourself by cutting it out of thin sheet metal to match the outside contours of the gaskets, and then drilling a 3/16" dia hole in the center.
