wideband bung
Is it safe to just run the 02 in my bung that is on the collector of my header already? It is currently plug just curious if I can remove the plug and install it there or will it not accurately read?
Thanks

If it's too close and you have too much EGT the sensor
may not have the controlled temp it needs for accuracy.
Whether this is the case on your plumbing, couldn't say.
The controller may show an error code if it's smart, but
that comes down to cases as well.
I got a bung welded into my I-pipe. You can get stainless
bungs from Jeg's, or Innovate was surprisingly reasonable
last I checked. But the hex-socket plugs are a bad idea,
they'll gall themselves stuck and then you're hosed. A
Toyota oil drain plug is stout and won't round out if you
need the impact gun, two years from now.
