Default OR-Y or Catted Y-Pipe?

I have a texas speed y-pipe with cats. I wanted to know if it would be better for me to get an OR-Y or to keep mine. I will be running it with Hooker Long Tube Headers and a Corsa Catback Exhaust. What are the benefits of the OR-Y and the Texas Speed Y-Pipe that I already have?

If you already have the tsp catted Y, I'd keep that. I doubt you'll benefit any from switching to an ory.
And from what I hear your cats will help stop the raspy exhaust note.

+1 keep the catted Y. It sounds way cleaner, and not raspy. I wish I wouldn't have cheaped out and bought an ORY, I'll eventually end up switching to a Catted Y.

I personaly would get rid of the cats. What is the point on having an aftermarket y pipe with cats? The cats are not in the stock location and cats are not even stock which is illegal so whats the point?! If your worried about the "rasp" then keep the cats.
On my 98 I had dynatech cats with lts,and magnaflow. I got rid of the cats and it sounded about the same. I personaly dont want cats on my car if im gonna have headers.

this, unless you ditch the cats and add a bullet in the i-pipe which is also a good option. I would keep the cats that keeps it simple and not so stinky.

I have LTs, the TSP catted Ys and Magnaflow. Nice rumble, no rasp. Cats are way less hassle on a DD. No real HP loss. They are further downstream than stock, so you will have to let em warm up good or you will throw codes. Or tune that out.
