Default Fast 92 Question

Is there supposed to be some like black RTV type stuff inside the fast 92 when you take the top portion off? Its kinda on the edges and such. Thanks

Is it used? Mine had red seals. It was brand new.

Someone probably opend it up and dabbed a little RTV at the joints in the seals to make sure it doesn't leak. You might clean it all off of the seals and intake, then re-RTV it befor you put it back together sense you've broken the seal.

It isn't a bad idea because the seals are multiple pieces. So dabbing some RTV at the joints will reduce the chances of leaks later on.
