z06 through a 6spd puts down about 345whp give or take a few... dont know how much you would pick up.. though but thats what ls6 puts down.. with headers, bigger cam and intake i put 430whp.. so thats why i say if your gonna go through all the work.. myswell go big, unless your gonna boost the hell out of it.. but to each their own goodluck with whatever you go with..

to the OP it shouldnt cost u more than 200 to be worth it IMO that is for parts. other than that just ditch it and go bigger..but ^ what is the mildest cam to get after the LS6? i would love a cam that has lil to zero lobes! and some hp nth crazy tho..sry to high jack op
