EGR crap on the headers!!!

can you drive the car without these hooked up? my friend is installing long tubes with out the emission fittings on them. he is going to get the cars computer adjusted asap but will the car drive without the computer change?

As long as the holes are plugged you can drive without them. No tune means the MIL will code

I did for a while. Just cap the connections and the code has to be tuned out, apparently. The car won't "self tune" though. They're not a "learning computer" like many earlier ones are. Whatever they need to "re-learn," it is done within 20 seconds or so. It's a fast PCM setup.
