Default Got my true duals put on today!!

I put on a 2.5 true duals with a custom X Pipe with Moroso Sprial Flows mufflers that dump before the rear axle, which I made the whole system myself, DAMN this thing sounds awesome!! I've never heard a 4th Gen sound so good! My interior noise is not bad at all. I thinkmy Dynomouth with QTP LT"s, QTP catted Y Pipe had more interior drone then this. The only problem is that my mufflers hang a little low in the rear. Hopefully I will get some time this weekend to fix it, but other then that, she's bad! I have some pics of it but I gotta get em developed and scanned and I will post them, sorry no sound clips though. BTW, it sounds killer with the TR224/112 in it!

i know what you mean on the awsome noise. i just put mine on this week and i love them. i have drivin a car with a 4"mufflex catback and it had a ton more interior noise them a X-pipe with duals. i used 2 chamber flowmasters for mine. i would say that the only disadvantage would be the ground clearence. although, i have seen some Y-pipes that are lower then my set up.

Contact Lanes Performance in Texas. They can build and ship true dual setups for F-bodies.

I have some pics of the clearance, but I gotta get em developed and scanned but it should be tomorrow, it's not bad at all. My car is lowered 1.5 inches and it's not an issue. I have a little more clearance with my duals, then I did with my Y Pipe setup. I can't get enough of the sound though! I'll just go out and start my car up for no reason just to hear it! It's not that hard to make em yourself, it just trial and error. I tack welded all the exhaust before I welded it up completely. I made the X pipe and turndowns myself, which I have pics also and I will post tomorrow.

I have the pics scanned, here's a couple of them, but the others are too big to put on here so if anyone wants to see them, just email me and I will send the pics.

-True Dual Pics - it seems like it look lower but it's the way I took the picture and also the shadow.

- X Pipe Clearance - this is probably the lowest point of the car and as you can see I have plenty of clearance. My SFC are just as low as my exhaust, but you can't notice it in the pic because of the way I took this one also.

I suck at taking pics!

The sound is awesome! I made sure that I tucked it up pretty good. I didn't want any ground clearance problems.

Where did you buy your mufflers from? Also do you have any soundclips? I was thinking of going with those mufflers when I do my setup.

I bought mine from Jegs P/N = 387-50322 for $39.99 for the 2.5 inlet/outlet. I have a sound clip of true duals, X pipe with the Moroso mufflers, but it's not my car. I will email it to you if you would like me to.
