Burning my plug wires.

I keep burning my two middle plug wires on the driver side. I am using Taylor Thundervolts right now. Any suggestions on a shorter wire or any other suggestions? Here are two pictures..

First off, before you go to pull the wires out... Buy a new set of MSD's or stockers. Taylors are a "one time use" wire. Use them once and you'll pull them apart when taking them out. I've been through it and so have many others here.

On the burning note; grab some kevlar sleeves or twist the base of the wires "away" from the primaries. Looks like you tried to twist the tops away, but the bottoms are still hitting. What exhaust is that?

Anyway I turn the bottom they still touch on the headers. I have no idea what headers they are, they were on the car when I bought them and there is no markings on them.
