18 ft lbs using the stock steel gaskets. Start with the center bolts and work your way out

First pass 11 lb/ft. Second pass 18 lb/ft. As was said, start in the middle and work your way out. I didn't bother using a TQ wrench, but I did tighten them in two passes like recommeded, and used GM gaskets. No leaks after two years.

I just torqued my driver side last night... 11ft lbs is light but not too light.. I'm glad I put a tq wrench on them... and then again @ 18lbs. Glad I didnt go "Muscle Mike" on bolts... as I used to tend to do on tightening stuff up.

No fart can on here

Check my sig for pics of mods... I just HAD to get a CAI, and well... wheels cause 15s weren't cutting it.

Had a '95 z28 on it's last legs... wanted to get into something reliable QUICKLY... so hence I got a brand new Civy on 9-11-2001 of all days...
