Anyone know where to get 1998 pcm ecu pcu seals for ls1?
I recently sent my 1998 ls1 pcm (t/a) to frost to have a mail order tune. I noticed a lot of corrossion inside the connector but didn't think a lot of it.
Frost called me and told me it was the worst he'd ever seen, that multiple pins had broken off and he didn't even know how the car ran with the pcm in that condition.
Well, being the swell guy he is he looks up a pcm on ebay while i'm on the phone and after getting my ok orders it up and has it sent to his shop where he programs it for me and then sends it out to me, all at his cost! what a nice guy, you really can't beat that for service.
Well, i'm trying to avoid having the same problem again, and after cleaning up my wiring harness i'm trying to find out where I can get new rubber seals that fit inside the wiring harness where it hooks to the pcm.
Frost did not know of anywhere to get them, I'm considering rtv'ing around the connector and just cutting it open and cleaning it up if i ever have to remove it but i'd really rather not. The old ones are still there i just don't trust them.
Anyone know any where to get them?
Thanks
