Default How long are long tube headers? Making a custom set, advice needed.

Im making a custom set, and im trying to figure out what is considered long? Mine will only really have 1 bend per pipe[not counting off the flange, and i want to determine how long i should run the strait after the bend before the collector. Its only about 10"-12" before the bend. Would be kind of cool to have 8 strait pipes tho!

A very general spec would be 35" from the flange to the end of the primary and 18" from the primary to the end of the collector. 1.75 with 3" collector and 1.875 with 3.5" collector. CID and RPM are used for the primary size. -assuming this isn't a truck motor-

Nope not a truck motor, 404ci in a 2500lbs hot rod.

Not going to be too hard to make since i have a basic idea to copy. I had planned a rear mount turbo, so i used mani's.
